Import and export RSS feeds in Internet Explorer

You can export your list of RSS feeds from Internet Explorer to take the list to another computer or to use it in another program. Alternatively, you can import a list of RSS feeds from another program into Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer uses the standard OPML (Outline Processor Markup Language) file format, used by many RSS applications.

To export RSS feeds

Follow these steps on the computer that you're exporting your feeds from.
1.	Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Internet Explorer.
2.	Click the Add to Favorites button , and then click Import and Export.
3.	In the Import/Export Wizard, click Next.
4.	Click Export Feeds, and then click Next.
5.	By default, Internet Explorer creates a file called Feeds.opml in your Documents folder. If you want to use a name other than Feeds.opml or to store the exported feeds in a folder other than Documents, specify the new file and folder name.
6.	Click Next. If you already have a file by the same name, Internet Explorer will ask you to replace it. Click Yes if you want replace the file or click No and type in a new file name.
7.	Click Finish.

To import RSS feeds

Follow these steps on the computer that you want to import your feeds to.
1.	Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Internet Explorer.
2.	Click the Add to Favorites button , and then click Import and Export.
3.	In the Import/Export Wizard, click Next.
4.	Click Import Feeds, and then click Next.
5.	By default, Internet Explorer imports from a file called Feeds.opml in your Documents folder, but you can tell it to import feeds that are saved under another name. Click Browse and select a file, or type a location and file name to import, or click Next to accept the default.
6.	Select the folder where you want place the imported feeds, and then click Next.
7.	Click Finish.
