What is S-Video?

S-Video is the name for a specialized cable used to connect video sources (such as your computer) to a television or other video display. S-Video cables provide a higher-quality image than composite video cables. VGA, DVI, and component video cables provide the sharpest displays of all, however, so you should use one of those connections if available.

You might need to install special software to be able to use your computer's S-Video port. For additional assistance, check the information that came with your computer's video card.
