Clear the history of websites you've visited

Internet Explorer stores a history of all the websites you have visited. You can delete this information to save hard disk space or to protect your privacy.

1.

Open Internet Options by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, and then clicking Internet Options.

2.

Click the General tab, and then, under Browsing history, click Delete.

3.

Under History, click Delete history, and then click Yes to confirm that you want to delete the history.

4.

Click Close, and then click OK.
