When you connect to a Bluetooth personal area network (PAN), you gain access to all Bluetooth enabled devices and computers that are part of the PAN. This is easier than connecting to multiple devices or computers individually. Connecting to a PAN automatically creates a TCP/IP connection between your computer and Bluetooth enabled devices or other computers. For example, you could use a PAN to connect to another computer to share files or play games.

Open Network Connections by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, clicking Network and Sharing Center, and then clicking Manage network connections.

Under Personal Area Network, click the Bluetooth Network Connection icon.

On the toolbar, click View Bluetooth network devices.

In the Bluetooth Personal Area Network Devices dialog box, under Bluetooth devices, click the device that you want to connect to, and then click Connect.
If the device you are looking for isn't listed, it might not support PAN services. If you are sure that it supports PAN services, try reinstalling the device by following the steps in Set up a Bluetooth enabled device.
