Copy information between files You can copy or move information such as text and pictures between files and programs in Windows using a temporary storage space called the Clipboard. The Clipboard can only hold one piece of information at a time. Whenever something is copied to the Clipboard, it replaces whatever was there before.

Drag
To move an item on the screen by selecting the item and then pressing and holding down the mouse button while moving the mouse. For example, you can move a window to another location on the screen by dragging its title bar.
