Management ConsoleTo view or change the current state of system services, open the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in for Services. Open a command window, and then type mmc.exe. When MMC opens, click File, click Add/Remove Snap-in, and select Services from the list of available snap-ins. To open the MMC snap-in for Services with elevated privileges, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt and then point to Run as administrator.
