Print a test page

You can print a test page to check if a printer is printing graphics and text correctly. A test page also displays information, such as the printer name, model, and driver software version, that can help you troubleshoot printer problems.

1.

Open Printers by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Hardware and Sound, and then clicking Printers.

2.

Right-click the printer that you want to test, and then click Properties.

3.

On the General tab in the Printer Properties dialog box, click Print Test Page.
