You can pause or resume printing your print jobs. If you want to manage print jobs for other users, you must have permission to manage the printer itself. For more information, see What are printer permissions?
If you want to pause or resume all documents that are waiting to print, you need permission to manage the printer. To view your printer permissions, right-click the printer that you're using, click Properties, click the Security tab, and then click your user name. If your computer is on a domain, printer permissions might be controlled by your administrator.

Open Printers by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Hardware and Sound, and then clicking Printers.

Right-click the printer that you're using, and then click Pause Printing or Resume Printing.
If you've paused a print job, you can start printing the document again from the first page. For example, you might choose to do restart your print job because you've started printing on the wrong color of paper,

To open the print queue, double-click the printer that you're using.

Right-click the document that you want to print again from the beginning, and then click Restart.
