To help secure your computer, Windows requires a password to unlock the computer when it wakes from sleep. If there is confidential information on your computer, it's a good idea to protect that information with a password. You can change this setting if you don't want to enter a password every time your computer wakes. For example, if you're the only one who uses the computer at home, you may not want it to be locked every time it wakes.
Open Power Options by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Power Options.

On the Select a power plan page, click Change plan settings under the plan that you want to change.

On the Change settings for the plan page, click Change advanced power settings.

On the Advanced settings tab, expand Additional settings, expand Require a password on wakeup, and then click No, both for when your computer is running on battery and when it's plugged in.
