Preview the appearance of a printed webpage
When you print a webpage, Internet Explorer automatically scales it to fit within the margins of your paper. This sometimes causes the page to be reduced in size. Internet Explorer also reduces the size of a page slightly if a single line of text (sometimes called an orphan) would print on its own page. You can use Print Preview to see how a printed webpage will look and to adjust page orientation, scaling, and margins.
